'Templet <br />for a permit to conduct a restaumant at 112 W. ~rd <br />Street was on motion of Trustee: Greenleaf, duAy se- <br />conded by Chapman smd carried, referred to the police <br />committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, the monthly reports of the Recorder <br />Building Inspector, Sanitary Inspector, Street Supt. <br />and Marshal were referredt c the finance committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe <br />andoarried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br />on the Treasurer to cover the demands as audited by <br />the finance committee and the demand of the Robertson <br />Electric Company for globes on the North Main Street <br />Bridge was referred to the City Attorney for settle- <br />ment with the Southern California Edison Company. <br /> <br />The matter pertaining to the alley between Broadway <br />and Birch, 4th and ~rd Streets, through the Gllmaker <br />property. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded <br />by Greenleaf amd carried, City Attorney Scott was in- <br />structed to resist any attempt to close same. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Truetee Tubbs, seconded by Greenleaf and <br />duly carried, the Southern Counties Gas Company was <br />granted a permit to team up their pipe line on First <br />Street from Sycamore to Minnie Street in order to re- <br />place same with new and larger pipe. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Trustee J. W. Tubbe Introduced an Ordinance of the City <br />of Santa Aha entitled ms follows: <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, A MUNI- <br />CIPAL CORPORATION OF THE FIFTH CLASS, INCORPORATED <br />UNDER THE LAWS CF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE <br />~UBMI8SION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA SEVERAL DIFFERENT PROPOSITIONS OF INCURRING BONDED <br />INDEBTEDNESS FOR THE OBJECTS ~DPURPOSE OF THE ACQUI- <br />SITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL I~PBOVEME' <br />NTS AND ALSO THE COMPLETION OF C~rRTAIN OTHER MUNI- <br />CIPAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA, A~ <br />FORTH IN RESOLUTION NO. 65?
