Santa Aha, City Hall June 7th, 1920 7:30 P. M. Boaxd met in regulax session. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Present: Trustees Tubbs, Chapman, Dale and Greenleaf. 'Templet for a permit to conduct a restaumant at 112 W. ~rd Street was on motion of Trustee: Greenleaf, duAy se- conded by Chapman smd carried, referred to the police committee. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chap- man and carried, the monthly reports of the Recorder Building Inspector, Sanitary Inspector, Street Supt. and Marshal were referredt c the finance committee. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe andoarried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants on the Treasurer to cover the demands as audited by the finance committee and the demand of the Robertson Electric Company for globes on the North Main Street Bridge was referred to the City Attorney for settle- ment with the Southern California Edison Company. The matter pertaining to the alley between Broadway and Birch, 4th and ~rd Streets, through the Gllmaker property. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf amd carried, City Attorney Scott was in- structed to resist any attempt to close same. # On motion of Truetee Tubbs, seconded by Greenleaf and duly carried, the Southern Counties Gas Company was granted a permit to team up their pipe line on First Street from Sycamore to Minnie Street in order to re- place same with new and larger pipe. # Trustee J. W. Tubbe Introduced an Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha entitled ms follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, A MUNI- CIPAL CORPORATION OF THE FIFTH CLASS, INCORPORATED UNDER THE LAWS CF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ~UBMI8SION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA SEVERAL DIFFERENT PROPOSITIONS OF INCURRING BONDED INDEBTEDNESS FOR THE OBJECTS ~DPURPOSE OF THE ACQUI- SITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL I~PBOVEME' NTS AND ALSO THE COMPLETION OF C~rRTAIN OTHER MUNI- CIPAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA, A~ FORTH IN RESOLUTION NO. 65?
