On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapmen and carried, the ~5,000.O0 Insurance Po]ioy on the Street Roller w~th a H~rtford Steam ~oller and Inspection and Ynsurance Co., was referred to the Cbair ~or approval. The bond of J. D. Lumbaugh of ~5OO.OO with E. H. Watts and J. O. Washburn as surety to do private contract sewar work was on motion o f Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Dale ~ud carried re- fer~ed to the chair for approval. The bonds of J. Service Company C. Best and the Central Auto for $10,O00.00 each, with the Inter,tote Cssual~yCompany ae surety and G. M. Foster ~nd Scott ?rather for t?10,OO2.00 with the California Highway Exchange as ~urety, were on motion of Trustee Chapm~n, leaf and carried, acne-ted, approval. duly seconded by Green- subject to the chair's On motior, of Trustee Oreenleaf duly seconded ~y ~hapmsn and carried, the petition of property owners o~, ~ Street oetween Patton and Ross, to have said portion of Street paved, ~nder specifications No. ~2 w~s returned t petitioners for more sianstures. An invitation from the Pacific Coast Association of ~ire Chiefs a~king that this City 'be repre- sented ~y th~ Mire Chief at their annual con- ventio~ to be held at Los Angeles, September 13th, %o 16th inclusive. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded bF Greenleef ~nd carried, Wire Chief Lu~enbourger w~s instructed to attend this convention a~ a de~egate at the expense of the City.
