T ru~teee Tubbs and <br /> <br />Chapman, being appointed as such Committee. <br /> <br />The application of C. L. <br /> <br /> Davis for a permit to erect a <br /> 2" iron pipe post to carry an official Southern Calif. <br /> Auto Club sign, 24" square in front of his place of <br /> business, 6th and Broadway was granted and on motion of <br /> Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and carried,- <br /> under the supervision of the Street Supt. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chapmen seconded by Greenleef and <br /> carried, action on the protest a£ainet the proposed <br /> <br /> Sales Ctables at 2nd and Garfield, wee deferred to next <br /> meeting, as it is the desire of the Board to have Dr. <br /> Clark, Health Officer and W. B. Culver present at the <br /> meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Gzeenleaf, du~y seconded by Tubbs <br /> and carried, the following Resolution was ordered writte: <br /> in the minutes of this meeting: <br /> <br /> ' Resolved by the Board cf Trustees of the <br /> City of Santa Aha, 1;hat we extend our <br /> profound and sincere thanks to the Santa <br /> Aha Register, Santa Aha Bulletin, Chamber <br /> of Commerce, ~erohants ~ud Manufacturers <br /> Aeaociatiom, Elks Lodge, Rotary Club, <br /> Sunset Club, Business Nan's Club, the <br /> Special Committee, and all others who aided <br /> and assisted in carrying the municipal <br /> bonds at the election held July 20th, 1~20." <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded ~y Chapmen and <br />carried, City Engineer Hoy was instructed to make a surve <br />of the City's property on North Flower Street, known as <br />the City Gravel Pit. <br /> <br />Th~s being the first Monday after the holding of the <br />$~cial Election called and o~dered to be held in the o~t <br />of Santa An a on Tuesday, the 20th day of Ju]y, 1920, and <br />the Board of Trustees of said city having met at the usus <br />piece of meeting and all of the returns of said special <br /> <br /> <br />
