Garland Sidewalk and ou~h work. In Re Permit- Southern Counties Company In He Monthly reports. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- man and carried, the request of R. ~. Lamar for & permit to conduct & lunch counter at 309 N. Sycamor Street w~s granted. # The report of Street Supt. Hoy certifying that the paving on Par ton Street between Hickey and Wash- ington Avenue has been completed to line cud grade, under Sye¢lfications No. $2. On motion of Trustee Tubbs report ~n]y seconded by Greenleaf and carried the was accepted and ordered filed. On motion cf Trustee D~le duly seconded by Green- leaf and carried, the ~ond of John Loxen~ourger, ~ire Chief for $1,O00.O0 with the Fidelity ~ud Deposit Company ae surety wa= referred to the chair for approval. . Tn the matter ~f the bond of $500.00 for H. E. Gar- l~nd to lay sidewalk and curbing in front of his pro~erty at 3rd and Heeperien Streets, w a~ on of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by De!e, re£errsd to the chair On motion of for ~pprovel with power to act. Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chs.rm~ and carried, the Soulher~ Counties Gas Co. were granted permission to refill the trench dug for putting in new and larger pipe on first Street from Sycamore to Main under the supervision of the Street Supt. On motion of Truetee Tu~bs, duly mccord ~y Dale end car£ied, the monthly reyorts, of the ~arshsl, Fire Chief, Sanitary Tnspeotor, Recorder, Building Inspector, and the annual report of the Clerk re- ferred to the finance committee.
