ORDINANCE NO. NS-2517 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 2-325 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Findings The City Council of the City of Santa Ana ("the City") finds, determines and declares: The Human Relations Commission is responsible for making funding recommendations to the City Council for the social service portion of the Community Development Block Grant funds. That responsibility requires that the Commission meet frequently in the early part of the year when grant requests are made to the Commission and less frequently at other times of the year. This amendment of this City's Code will allow the Human Relations Commission to meet when necessary to hear requests and make recommendations with regard to said CDBG funds without increasing the number of meetings per year. Section 2. Section 2.325 ("Compensation for members of boards, commissions") of the City's Code is hereby amended as follows: Sec. 2-325. Compensation for members of boards, commissions. The members of the following boards and commissions of the city shall receive the compensation as set forth herein: (a) Community Redevelopment & Housing Commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per month automobile allowance. (b) Personnel Board, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting. (c) Planning Commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus fifty dollars ($50.00) per month automobile allowance. (d) Historic Resoumes Commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, two (2) meetings maximum per month; Ordinance No. NS-2517 Page 1 of 3
