In Re Joint Agr. eement with City of Anaheim- Outfall Wherea~, the City of Santa ~ is in the midst cf ~onetant development and growth and if given the right asmia~ee by the Board of Trustees and citizens thereof, 'such growth continue with ever increasing rapidity, and in the very near Tutt=~, make Santa Aha a city which will be of material ben- efit to all and one of which we may rightly be proud~ Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the city of 8ants Aha has at all times requested the presence at its meetings and the counsel and advi~m of all citizens interested ~u the welfare of the city, and at this time does and will continue to invite the advice, suggestions and Judgment of such persons; and Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the oity of Santa Aha are not desiroum of increasing the coat of the maintenance' o~ the city or in carrying on its public improvements or of the taxation therein, if the city is able to meet its obligations and do its full sh~re of the growth and Aevelopment thereof~ and Wherea~, some suggestions have been made as to the con- sequences ~hioh will result to the Boardof ?ruetees of the city of Santa Aha if said board shall seek by the means pro- vided by law to increase the ordinary annual income and reveDue thereof, to meet these conditions m~d to assist in carrying out the obligations of the city or the lnhabita~te thereof. Now therefore, be it ~eeclved, that the Chamber of Col- meroe of the city of Santa Aha, and the Merchants & Manu- facturers Association thereof, do hereby express the entire confidence of said organizations in the integrity, faith- fulness, patience, and success of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha, and the individual members thereof, in meeting the conditions which have confronted them, an~ we further express cull full approval and endorsement of the adminlstrat~on of the affairs of the city of Santa Aha, as conducted and achieved by the present Board of Trustees thereof.
