In Re <br /> <br />Joint Agr. eement with <br />City of Anaheim- Outfall <br /> <br />Wherea~, the City of Santa ~ is in the midst cf ~onetant <br />development and growth and if given the right asmia~ee by <br />the Board of Trustees and citizens thereof, 'such growth <br />continue with ever increasing rapidity, and in the very near <br />Tutt=~, make Santa Aha a city which will be of material ben- <br />efit to all and one of which we may rightly be proud~ <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the city of 8ants Aha <br />has at all times requested the presence at its meetings <br />and the counsel and advi~m of all citizens interested ~u the <br />welfare of the city, and at this time does and will continue <br />to invite the advice, suggestions and Judgment of such <br />persons; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the oity of Santa Aha <br />are not desiroum of increasing the coat of the maintenance' o~ <br />the city or in carrying on its public improvements or of the <br />taxation therein, if the city is able to meet its obligations <br />and do its full sh~re of the growth and Aevelopment thereof~ <br />and <br /> <br /> Wherea~, some suggestions have been made as to the con- <br />sequences ~hioh will result to the Boardof ?ruetees of the <br />city of Santa Aha if said board shall seek by the means pro- <br />vided by law to increase the ordinary annual income and <br />reveDue thereof, to meet these conditions m~d to assist in <br />carrying out the obligations of the city or the lnhabita~te <br />thereof. <br /> <br /> Now therefore, be it ~eeclved, that the Chamber of Col- <br />meroe of the city of Santa Aha, and the Merchants & Manu- <br />facturers Association thereof, do hereby express the entire <br /> <br />confidence of said organizations in the integrity, faith- <br />fulness, patience, and success of the Board of Trustees of <br /> <br />the city of Santa Aha, and the individual members thereof, <br />in meeting the conditions which have confronted them, an~ <br />we further express cull full approval and endorsement of <br />the adminlstrat~on of the affairs of the city of Santa Aha, <br />as conducted and achieved by the present Board of Trustees <br />thereof. <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved, that a copy of this Resolution <br />be filed with the Clerk of the oi~y of Santa Aha and given <br />to the prems for publication. <br /> <br />~A~E~ OF <br /> <br />Attelt: <br /> <br />By Chas.
