On motion of Trustee Chapma~duly seconded by Dale and carried, City Attorney Scott was instructed to draw up thc necessary contract with Steele Finley for pavin, the Roosevelt School property abutting upon Walnut Street on the same basis as contract entered with property owners for paving said street. On motion of Trustee Greenle~ duly seconded by Trust, Tubbs and carried, the bid of Brown-Bevis Company to furnish~E~lgin Motor St. Sweeper, with an Elgin gutter attachment etc. for $?950.00 was accepted, and the Clerk instructed to return the certified check of the Austin-Western Road ~aohinery Co., the unsuccessful Oidder. # On motion of Truste~ Greenleaf duly seconded by Tubba and carried, the Clerk wam instructed to advertise for bide for furnishing the City with 40 tons of Barley and 20 tons of alfalfa Hay. # Resolution No. 683 was taken up £or final consideration read, and on motion cf Trustee J.
