N. <br /> <br /> was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded <br /> <br /> referred to a committee; Trustees Greenlesf and <br /> being appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />The application of John P. Hayhurst for permission to out <br />the 6~trb at 20~ ~. Sycamore and on 2nd between Sycamore <br />'and Main Sts. for drive ways, was granted on motion of <br />Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Dale and carried, unde <br />the supervision, of the Street Superintendent. <br /> <br /> o~ler e <br /> In the matter of the petition of proper~n Spu~geon St. <br /> <br /> between Washington Ave. and 20~h St. to have said por <br /> <br /> of Stleet improved with gravel and oils pndperty owners <br /> to pay for the oil and gravel and the City to do the work <br /> of mixing and laying the same, was granted on motion of <br /> Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Tubbs and carried. <br /> <br /> A communication fromm. J. Looks, Exgcutlve Secretary <br /> was read <br /> Leagum of Cal. Municipalities/in reference to Assembly <br /> <br /> Bills 250 and 2~1, pending in the Legislature <br /> <br /> Bill 2~O a proposed New Franchise Act, and Bi~l No. <br /> 2~1 proposing an-amendment to the public utilities act. <br /> On motion of True tee Chapman duly seconded by Dale and <br /> carried, City Atty. Scott was instructed to draft a Reso- <br /> lution opposing the two measures and to submit the Reso- <br /> <br /> lution to the President of the Board for approval and sam <br /> the Orange Cou~lty representative~at <br /> J <br /> <br />to be forwarded to <br />Sacramento. <br /> <br />The Bond of E. W. <br /> <br /> Whitney for $500.00 as principal and <br />H. P. Opp and F. Frmk as sureties to do private contract <br />cement sidewalk & curbing was, on motion of Trustee Tubbs <br />duly seconded by Chapman, referred to the chair for <br />approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
