A number ~f property owners on W. 5th Street were before the Board in reference to the condition of W. 5th Street paving, asking that repairs be tried on same in order to save what pavement is left. President ~itohell informed the Committee that the matter would be taken under advise- ment by the Board aa a committee of the whole. On motion of Trustee Tubbe duly seconded by-Ohapma~ a~d carried, H. E. Manatt was gra~ted permission to inet~l ~ electric B~ber Pole in front of ~s place of busine~ 50Y N. On motion of Tr~tee D~e duly seconded bY Greenle~ ~d o~ried, ~1 bids received for ~natruotion Of Fi~e H~I were rejected ~d the Olerk instructed to ret~a t~e 'certified checks.which aooo~p~led the ~treet Supt. Eoy was instructed to get the static of the paving of Sycaaore Street between Church & Washington Avenue and loth between Main and Broadway, and report ea~e at next meeting of the Board. On motion of Trustee Tubbe duly seconded by Chapman and oaz ried, City Eng. Hoy wa~ instructed to prepare plane a~d specifications for pa~ing the unpaved portion of E. ~th St. under assessment dist. # A motion by Trustee Greenleaf to adjourn was duly seconded by Chapman and carried.
