On <br />motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by G~eenleaf and car- <br />ried, the matter was referred to the Board aea committee <br />of the whole. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Greenleaf that contractors live up <br /> <br /> to the contract in reference to paving W. Walnut and S. <br />Rosa Streets, was lost for want of a second. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sreenleaf duly seconded by Chapman <br /> <br />and carried, plans and s~ecifioations for culverts on <br />Main Street as prepared by City Engineer Hoy were adopted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for <br />bids for the construction of three and one-half re-in- <br />forced concrete culverts, approximately 60 ft. long, , <br />according to plans and specifications on file in the City <br />Engine~r'e office. <br /> <br />The request of J. J. De Vaux for a refund en the unused <br />portion of his City License which was paid in advance for <br />a period of one year, amounting to $50.00. On motion of <br />Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Dale and carried, 3/4 <br />of license le refunded, and Clerk instructed to draw a <br />warrant on the Treasurer to the amount of $37.50. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />An Ordin~oe amending sub-sections 1 & ~ of Section ~ of <br />Ordinance No. 64~ was given second re~ding and on motion <br />of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br />same was again referred back to the City Attorney to pre- <br />pare for final action. <br /> <br />An ordinance creating the office of City Inspector, de- <br />fining hie duties and fixing his oompens&tion was given <br />second reading and on motion of Trustee Dale duly second- <br />ed by Greenleaf referred back to the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />
