103 Santa Aha City Hall. August '/th, 1922. 7:30 P. M. BoL~ met in ~egular session. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Present: T~ustees J. W. Tubbs, ~ H. Chapman,.H.H.Dale, W. A. Greenleaf and the Clerk. Minutes of July 17th, 24th and 31st read and approved. In Re Corm~unity Hospital ltequest for Free Water. Application V. F. Stein. In Re Application C. Shanchez. In' Re Bond of P. E. Land Company. In Re Protest - Shoe String Strip - S. H. Finley. In Re Monthly Reports. In Re Demand s. On motion of Trustee ~abbs, duly seconded by,eh- leaf and carried, the request of the Community Hospi- tal Association for City Water free of charge, was refex~red to the Sewer and Water Cormnittee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- leaf and carried, V. F. Stein was granted permission to install a 320 gallon capaoit~.gasoline tank at 609 West Fourth Street, under the supervision of the Street Superintendent and Fire Chief. ~e application of C. Shanohez for per~ztssion to conduct a lunch room at 1830 West Third Street, was, on motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by G~een- leaf and carried, x~ferred to the Police Committee. On motion of T~ustee Chapman, seconded by ~reenleaf and carried, the $10,000 indenmity bond of the Pacific Electric Land Company covering the operation of motor bus service in Santa Aha, was referred to the Chair for approval. A ~c~ioation from S. ~. Finley, protesting against ., the armexation of a shoe string strip was read. On motion of T~ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by C~pman carried, the communication was placed on file for future reference. On motion of T~ustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the monthly reports of the vario~ City officials were referred to the Finance Committee. on motion of Trustee Dale, seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Clerk was instructed to issue war~ants in payment of demands as audited By the Finance Committee.
