Tubbs, seconded b7 Trustee O. H. Chapman, and duly carried, the Board of Trustees fixed the time and place of heari~-Iai~ appeal at the hour of 4: o'clock p.m. of ~o~day, the 16th day of January. 1922, at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha, in the Olty Hall thereof, and directed t~a~ notice be posted conspicuously by the clerk of Clt7 bf Santa Aha ~the chamber door of the co,moil k chamber for five days. Mr. Xellogs of the S ants Aha Daily Newe was before the Boaxd with a request for permission to construct & temporary shed to cover a part of their equipment. On motion of Trustee Chapman, ~uly seconded by ~ale and carried, the reques% was granted. Mr. Shelly Herren w~ before the Board in reference to hie contract for Street Sweepings, stating that using the present method of sweeping the streets, that more sand and dirt was ~hered than fertili~er and asking to be releaeed from hie centre.ct, and to pro rate the money ~dvanoed on the contract. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Oharma~ and oemried, the matter was referred to a committee. Trustees Oreanleaf and Ohapma~ being ~ppointed as euo~ C$~lttee. Mr. Paahley wee granted a permit to oonetruota tern- porary shed to cover used autos at the S.E.¢orner of ~rd a~d Bdwy., ~n motion of Trustee Tubbe duly second- ed by Dale and carried. In the matter of the petition for street lights on Camlle Street at the intersection of Orange and Maple Avenues , was on motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, referred to the Street ¢om~nittee. On ~t!on of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Dale and ea~ried, City Attorney Scott and Water Supt, ~ wereiSnstruoted to prepare an Ordinance ame~dir~ ~ Ord!~e~oe pertaining to nuisances, in reference to ~ ~ome~o antmLlo or fowls being stored or kept wit~ 10~ ~ of ~y water r~ervcir. ~
