Tubbs, <br />seconded b7 Trustee O. H. Chapman, and duly carried, <br />the Board of Trustees fixed the time and place of <br />heari~-Iai~ appeal at the hour of 4: o'clock p.m. <br />of ~o~day, the 16th day of January. 1922, at the <br />Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the city <br />of Santa Aha, in the Olty Hall thereof, and directed <br />t~a~ notice be posted conspicuously by the clerk of <br /> Clt7 bf Santa Aha ~the chamber door of the co,moil <br /> k <br /> <br /> chamber for five days. <br /> <br />Mr. Xellogs of the S ants Aha Daily Newe was before the <br />Boaxd with a request for permission to construct & <br />temporary shed to cover a part of their equipment. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, ~uly seconded by ~ale <br />and carried, the reques% was granted. <br /> <br />Mr. Shelly Herren w~ before the Board in reference to <br />hie contract for Street Sweepings, stating that <br />using the present method of sweeping the streets, <br />that more sand and dirt was ~hered than fertili~er <br />and asking to be releaeed from hie centre.ct, and to <br />pro rate the money ~dvanoed on the contract. On <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Oharma~ <br />and oemried, the matter was referred to a committee. <br />Trustees Oreanleaf and Ohapma~ being ~ppointed as euo~ <br />C$~lttee. <br /> <br />Mr. Paahley wee granted a permit to oonetruota tern- <br /> <br />porary shed to cover used autos at the S.E.¢orner of <br /> <br />~rd a~d Bdwy., ~n motion of Trustee Tubbe duly second- <br /> <br />ed by Dale and carried. <br /> <br />In the matter of the petition for street lights on <br /> <br />Camlle Street at the intersection of Orange and <br /> <br />Maple Avenues , was on motion of Trustee Dale duly <br /> <br />seconded by Tubbe and carried, referred to the Street <br /> <br />¢om~nittee. <br /> <br />On ~t!on of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Dale <br /> <br />and ea~ried, City Attorney Scott and Water Supt, ~ <br />wereiSnstruoted to prepare an Ordinance ame~dir~ ~ <br />Ord!~e~oe pertaining to nuisances, in reference to ~ <br />~ome~o antmLlo or fowls being stored or kept wit~ <br />10~ ~ of ~y water r~ervcir. ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
