Chapman, H.H.Dale, <br /> ~.A.Greenleaf, John G. ~Itchell. <br /> <br /> Noes: Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees No~e. <br /> <br />This being the day, hour and place fixed in Resolution <br />of Intention No. 914 for t}~e improvement of a ~,ort[on of <br />=ush Street, West Twentieth St., East ~ventleth St., and <br />East S~ta Clara Avenue, for the hearing of protests <br />and objections, and the Board of Trustees having met and <br />being now in session, proceeded to hear any protests or <br />objections offered agalust the proposed work, or against <br />thc extent of the district to be assessed, or objections <br />to the proposed change or modification of grade on a <br />part of Bush Street and on West Twentieth Street. <br /> <br /> Southern ~aclfic Railroad Co. and Southern Pacific Co <br />having filed protests against the proposed work and ex- <br />tent of the district, the Board of Trust~es heard and <br />passed upon sa~d protests. The proposed work and the <br />cost thereof is to be assessed u~on the property w~thin <br />the district, and the city council finds that such pro- <br />tests are made by the owners of less than one-half of. th~ <br />area of the property to be assessed for the improvement <br />and that the same ought to be overruled and denied. <br /> <br /> Thereupon, Trustee ~..n.
