Trustee Tubbs presented to the Board a resolution whlch was read by the Clerk and upou motion of Trustee Ch, Dm, n. seconded by Neff. was unanimously adopted ss follows: Where~s. upon roll ceil of the members of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa An,. no one a~swers "1 from the F~rst %'.,rd. and we find t~e chair of the Trustee from this ~;'ard vac..nt, and Where.s, Claude L. K~l]en, our co-laborer, friend and fe~]ow-member of this Board from said 1,:..rd has, through the interposition of mn a]lwlse and divine Providence been taken from us by death Nnexpected, and ';,harass, tb~s Bo.rd now feels as a personal loss the absence of our faithful friend and fellow-laborer and deeply feels the loss of his services in behalf of the City he served, Now Therefore Be It Resolved, F~rst: That in the untimely death of tkis f~ithful, upright, clear-thinking and progressive citizen, the C~t of San~, An. h,s lost the service of . f~dtI~ful friend and public servant..nd his family a devoted husband mhd f, tber.
