RESOLUTION NO. 22-21 RESOLUTION PROPOSING TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY, GIVING NOTICE OF THE T7~. AND PLACE OF A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON 'WHERE ALL PROTESTS W~.T. BE ~ARD AND PASSED UPON, DESIGNATING THE NAN--. OF "TOWNSEND ~ATION" AS AN APPROPRIATE NAHE FOR SAID TERRITORY AND DECLARING REASONS WHY THE CITY COUNCIL DESIRES ANNEXATION WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Santa Aha, California as the legislative body of said City, has and does by this Resolu- tion, initiate proceedings for the annexation to the City of Santa California~fall of that certain property herein described lying Ama, in the County of Orange, State of California, contiguous to said City and that the reasons why the City Council desires that said territory be annexed are as follows: That there is proposed, an extensive industrial development in the area in which said terri- tory is located and that the City desires to afford industries seeking location, an area of adequate size for factory dewelopment within the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of Santa Aaa hereby declares its intention, by proceedings initiated by said Council, to annex all that certain territory under the pro- visions of the Ammexation of Unin~a$ited Territory A~t of 1931 which said territory is wholly unl~ha$ited, is contiguous to the City of Santa Ann, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of ~mmett's Additiom to South Santa Ann, as per map thereof recorded in Book 8, Page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, said Northeasterly corner being on the center line of Delhi Road, said Northeasterly corner also being a point on the boundary line of the City of Santa Ann, California; thence S. 0° 09' E. along the boundary line of the City of Santa Ann, and along the East line of said Emmett's Addition, 1285.95 feet to the North line of the easement of the Pacific Electric Railway Company, as described in deed recorded in Book 225, Page 317 of Deeds, Records of Orange County; thence along the North and Northwesterly line of said easement S. 89° 48' 30" East 237.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the Northwest having a radius of 357.25 feet with a radial line to said beginning of curve bearing S. 0o 46' 03" E.;
