RESOLUTION NO. 52-25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DETERMINING AND DECLARING THAT WEEDS WHICH BEAR SEEDS OF <br />A WINGY OR DOW~UZ NATURE AND ATTAIN SUCH A LARGE GROWTH <br />AS TO BECON[E A FIRE MENACE ~HEN DRY, AND %~HICH ARE NOXIOUS <br />AND DANGEROUS, ARE GRO~ING UPON C~RTAIN STREETS, SIDEWALKS, <br />AND PRIVATE PROPERTY IN SAID CITY OF SANTA ANA, AND ARE <br />A PUBLIC NUISANCE~ DIRECTING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT <br />TO POST NOTICES TO DESTROY SAID W~EDS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; <br />FIXING THE TI~ FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS AND PROTE~TS, AND <br />DIRECTING THE ABATEMENT THEREOF IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER <br />13, PART ~, DIVISION 3, TITLE 4 ON T~ GOVERN~ENT CODE OF <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: <br /> <br /> Pursuant to th~ provisions of Chapter 13, Part ~, <br /> <br />Division 3, Title 4 of the Government Cods of the State of Cali- <br />fornia, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />determines and declares that weeds which when mature bear wingy <br />or downy seeds, which will attain such a large growth as to <br />become a fire menace when dry or which are otherwise noxious <br />and dangerous, are growing upon certain strsets, sidewalks and <br />private property in said City, and ars hereby dsclared to be a <br />public nuisance, and that the names of such streets as they <br />commonly known are hereinafter set forth and the property front- <br />ing upon suoh streets or sidewalks, or in front of which suoh <br />nuisance exists are hereinaftsr particularly described by lot <br />and block numbers according to the official assessment map: <br /> <br /> <br />
