Tedford for pe~missio~ sup er to erect and conduct/service station at S.E. co~ner 4th and Garnsey S~s. was referred to a Committee: Trustees McPhee, Chapman and Purinton were appointed as such Committee. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapman and carried, ~eq~e~t of H.E.Smith that street light be installed on Logan St. about 280 ft. North of Washingto~ Ave. was referred to the Light Committee. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and carried, Geo. W.Ezelle was granted permission to hang electric sign for E.Davis at 404 W. 4th St., under supervision of Electric Inspector. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Purinton and carried, bond of Bellows & Crutchfield in amount of for cement work was referred tothe Chair for approval dis approval. A deed from the Board of Education covering a portion o West Washington Avenue and North Baker Street was, on motion of Trustee Purlnton, seconded by Chapman and carried, accepted, and t .e Clerk instructed to have the same recorded. On motiO~ of Trustee Cha~$s econded by Puri~ten and carried, report of the Health Department for the month of March, 192~, was referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee McPhee, ~econded by Chapman and carried, final action on application of Pacific Electri( Railway Company for permission %o increase bus fares from five to seven cents was deferred for one week pend- ing further investigation. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapman and carried, City Engineer was instructed to stake Louise Street and net ify adjacent property owners to remove trees and obstructions therefrom in order to make same passabl$ for travel. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and carried, Mr. Wixon was granted permission to insta21 electric barber pole at 820 W. 4th St. under supervision of electric inspect~ #
