On motion of Trustee Chapman, s~conded by Purinton and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants cover- ing demands as audited by the Finance Cormmittee. On motion of Trustee Oollter, seconded by Purinton and carrie~, the Clerk was instructed to sign ~he approval ~o Map ~rac~ No.~82, provi~e~ E~ghth Street ~de sixty ~eet in width and bond cove~ing improvements ~ f~le~. A protest was presented against the to sign the Board's subdivision within the opening of Louise Street from 8th to 17th St. until after walnut crop is gathered. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by McPl~ee and carried, opening of street will be deferred until crop la gathered, provided property owners interest will sig~ agreement covering opening of street at later date. Protests against the opening of Victoria Drive came up For consideration. The Engineer reported that ~otests represented 7.53% of frontage involved. A representative of Cora E. and Tessie Winter was heard. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Purinton and carried, matter was continued for one week.
