RESOLUTION NO. 52-32 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING STREET WORK ON BRISTOL STREET <br />BETW..'~.N WILSHIRE A~.NUE AND THIRD STRW~.T AND REQUESTING <br />THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO TRANSFER TO TH~ CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />fuNDS AT.LOCATED THEREFOR <br /> <br /> W~REAS, heretofore on the 17th day of May, 1951 the City <br />Council of the City of Santa Aha passed and adopted Resolution No. <br />4085 requesting the County of Orange for a grant of aid in the sum <br />of Fort~ Thousand, Four Hundred and Seventy-three Dollars ($40,473.00) <br />out of the County's apportionment of the California Highway Users' <br />Tax Fund to widen Bristol Street on the east side thereof from Wil- <br />shire Avenue to Third Street; and <br /> <br /> W%M~aEAS, On June 5, 1951 the Board of Supervisors of the <br />County of Orange passed and adopted a Resolution granting to and <br />making allocation of said sum of money for said work from said fund; <br />and <br /> <br /> WW~W.EAS, the work contemplated by said Resolution has now <br />been completed; <br /> <br /> NOW, TN~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of Santa Aha hereby accepts the work done in the widening <br />and resurfaciug of the east side of Bristol Street lying within the <br />limits of said City between Third Street and Wilshire Avenue and de- <br />clares said work completed in accordance with the Resolutions request- <br />ing and approving the same. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTM~.R RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha hereby <br />requests that the County of Orange reimburse said City for said work, <br />heretofore determined to be in the general County interest and as <br />requested by the City's Resolution No. 4085 and approved by said <br />County and that said reimbursement be in the amount of Forty Thousand <br />Four Hundred and Seventy-three Dollars ($40,473.00). <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTB_m~ RESOLVED: That the City Clerk is hereby dj- <br /> <br /> <br />
