RESOLUTION NO. ~2-~. A Resolution Designating the Building Inspector of the City of Santa Ana as Construction Inspector in Charge of and Representing the City on the Con- struction of the Central Fire Station and Authoriz- ing the Adoption of Change Orders on this Project by Signature of the City Administrator, Fire Chief, and Building Inspector Not to Exceed the Total Amount of $200.00 in Each Such Change Order. ~HEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has entered into a con- tract for the construction of an Headquarters Fire 8ration located on the Southeast corner of Walnut and Sycamore ~treets within the City; and Wh~EA8, the interest of the City requires that continuous technical inspection and supervision be given to ~his construc- tion project by some qualified person or persons representing the City; and ~EREA$, during the period of construction there will be an indeterminate number of problems requiring consideration of proposed changes in construction plans and procedures which will involve additional costs for the City and which must be determined immediately in order to avoid costly delays; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does hereby designate the Chief Building Inspector of the City of Santa Aha, and any other person who may from time to time be directed by him to act in his behalf, as the inspector for the City on this construction project; AND BE IT FURTHER RES0LVED: That the City Council hereby authorizes a committee consisting of the City Administrator, the Chief Building Inspector and the Chief of the Fire Department to approve any changes in the construction plans and procedures which are in the joint opinion of the committee necessary for the economical construction of the Fire Station and which do not in each separate instance exceed an increase of ~wo hundred ($200.00) dollars in the construction costs of the project.
