On motion of Trustee Collier, seconded by <br />Chapman and carried, the resolution was adopted for a period <br />of three years at $1.00 a month for each such receptacle <br /> <br />placed in the City, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br /> <br /> and President of the Board <br />and Clerk/instructed to sign agreement. <br /> <br />Goode, seconded by Chapman and carried, <br /> <br />the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids to furnish <br />gasoline to the Street Department, contract to become effec- <br />tive February 16th. <br /> <br />A petition was presented signed by property owners a,,d asking <br />for sidewalk on West Second Street between Bristol and Hes- <br />perian Streets. On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by <br />McPhee and carried, a conunIttee was appointed to make an <br />investigation and report back at the next me®~ing. Trustees <br />McPhee, Goode, Chapman and the City Enginaer appointed as <br />such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chapman and carried, <br />the City Engineer was instructed to prepare Plans and Speci- <br />fications for the correction of drainage ditches on S. Main <br />and Edinger Streets, also S. Flower Street from Fatrvlew to <br />Edinger Streets, same to be paid for out of the Special <br />Motor Vehicle Fund. <br /> <br />Trustee Goode introduced a resolution adopting plans and <br />specifications for the improvement of Oxford Street from the <br />East line of Main Street to the West line of Maple Street. <br />The remlutlon was ordered filed, read, considered, designa- <br />ted Resolution No. 1719 and pa~sed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees C.H.Chapman, Goo McPhee, E.B.Collier, <br /> <br />Noes: Tl~u stees <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees <br /> <br />Stanley E. Goode, <br />None <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />F.L.Purinton. <br /> <br />This being the time to which the heaping of protests against- <br />the vacation'of a portion of Greenleaff'Street Was set'and no <br />person'appearing to ~rotest or object to the work as set out <br />in Resolution of Intention No. 1709 and no written protests <br />having b~,en filed, Trustee Chapman introduced a resolution <br />ordering the improvement.
