In Re <br /> <br />Bids for gasoline. <br /> <br />protests were referred to the City Engineer for check- <br />ing and report back at next meeting. <br /> <br />This being the time and place set for opening bids for <br />furnishing the City of Santa &ua with gasoline for per- <br />iod of twelve months from February 16th, 1927, and the <br />Bo~rd of Trustees being now in session, proceeded to <br /> <br />open, examine <br />Richfield Oil <br /> <br />and declare all bids as follows: <br /> including tax. <br />Co. - ~ifteen and onehalf cents per gal./ <br /> City to receive benefit of decline. <br /> <br />Shell Co. of Calif. - Thirteen and one half cents per <br /> gal. plus two cents State Tax,Cit~ <br /> to pay increase and receive bene- <br /> fit of decline. <br /> <br />Standard Oil Co. <br /> <br />Fifteen and one half cents per gal. <br />including State Tax, City to receive <br />benefit of decline. <br /> <br />Calif. Pet. Corp. - <br /> <br />Shipkey &Pesrson - <br /> <br />Three cents per gal. less than Stan- <br />dard Oil Companyts retail market <br />price on Red Crown at the time and <br />place of delivery. <br /> <br />Fifteen and one half cents per gal. <br />including State Tax, City to receive <br />benefit of decline. <br /> <br />Union 0tl Co. - Fifteen and one half cents per gal. <br /> cluding State Tax, City to receive bene~ <br /> fit of decline. <br /> <br />Gen'l Pet. Bristol at. <br /> <br />This being the day and ho~r set for hearing appeals or <br />protests of any pex'son interested in the work, improve-. <br />ment or assessment made therefor on a portion of No. <br />Bristol Street and Nest Eighth Street, as per Resolution <br />of Intention No. 188§, and the Board of Trustees being <br />now in regular session, proceeded to consider protests <br />presented. It appearing that protests represented only <br />a small percentage of frontage involved; after due con- <br />sideration by the Board, said protests were overruled. <br /> <br /> Tuustee Goode introduced a resolution overruling pro- <br />tests or objections to assess m Gent, a~proving assessment' <br />and ordering the Street Superintendent to attach warrant <br />and r~cord, was duly read, considered, designated Reso-. <br /> <br />lution No. 1726 <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> C.H.
