Rutan, representing the <br /> <br />Delhi Drainage District, appeared before the Board giving <br />notice that the City of Santa Ana would within a year have <br />to arrange to take care of storm waters, either by bearing <br />some of the expense of maintenance of drainage ditches or <br />by building a storm drain. Mr. Griset stated that the <br />District would bear the installation costs if the City <br />would bear the costs of pipe necessary to change the open <br />ditch to a pipe line along Delhi Road from Natn to Bristol . <br />Streets. On motion of Trustee Collier, seconded by Chspma~ <br />~nd carried, a co~r.~,.ittee, composed of Trustees Goode, <br />McPhee, Purlnton ~aM the City Engineer, was appointed to <br />meet with the Delhi Drainage District Directors and report <br />back their recon~endations. <br /> <br />On ~otton of Trustee g,~cPhee, seconded by Chapman and car- <br />ried., the Clerk was instructed to notify the Sou. Calif. <br />Edison Company to install Five center suspension lights, <br />1CO candle po~er, on Fairview Avenue West of Towner £trcet.I <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee tdcPhee, it was decided to reconsider <br />the action taken by the Board of Trustees, February ~th, <br />relative to the installation of natural gas engines; the <br />motion was duly secoaded by Collier and upon call o? roll <br />carried , 'is follows: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Truste~s C.H.
