Thompson in amount of $800.00 <br />for Cement Sidwalk and Curbing, was referred to the Chair <br />for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Go~e, seconded by Chapman and car- <br />ried, application made by a representative of Kline's <br />Show to operate a Carnival April 4th, was granted on con- <br />dition that the location of same meets with the Board's <br />approval. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chapman and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to notify the Southern <br />Calif. Edison Company to install center suspension lights <br />in the Southeast Lighting District as per map on file in <br />the office of the City Engineer, covering E. Bishop, Grant <br />Wakeham, Wisteria, Beverly, Normandy, Harwood, Orange, <br />Maple, Oak, Kllson, Hickory and I/alladsy Streets. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Collier and car- <br />ried, a committee, composed of ~resident Purinton and <br />Trustee Goode, was appointed to meet'with the' Board of BUp <br />ervisors reference to money which the City is asking of <br />the County for the navir~ and improvement of B. Main Stree <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chapman and car- <br />ried, the request of the Griffith Company,for an extension <br />of 60 days' time for finishing contract work on N. Ross <br />Street, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Collier and car- <br />ried, the Cl~rk was authorized to advertise for bids on <br />two gas engines according to plans and specifications on <br />file in the Water Department; initial payment of $4000.00 <br />cash and monthXy installment of $800.00 to be made until <br /> <br />paid. <br /> <br /> Roll Call: Ayes, <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Not VotinE, <br /> <br />Trustees <br /> <br />Trustees <br />Trustees <br /> <br />C.H.
