Purinto <br />J. L. McBride, W. J. Kelly, W. G. Knox and Stanley E <br />Goods having been duly declared elected as members <br />of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ara <br />for the ensuing term of four years, and having each <br />severally qualified by taking and subscribing to <br />the oath of office, and being personally present, <br />met as the Board of Trustees and proceeded to or- <br />ganize and did organize the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ara. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by the Clerk. <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, duly seconded by <br />Trustee Kelly and carried, Trustee F. L. Purinton <br />was elected President of the Board of Trustees. <br /> <br />President Purtnton then appointed the following <br /> <br />standing ~ommittees: Stanley E. Goods - Street, <br />Light and Park; J. L. McBride - Water, Sewer and <br /> <br />Sanitary; W. G. Knox - Fire, Building, Electric and <br /> <br />Plumbing; W. J. Kelly - Police and Public Buildings. <br /> <br />Applications for appointments were read as follows: <br /> <br />For Fire Chief:- John Luxembourger <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Goode and <br />carried, John Luxembourger was appointed Fire Chief <br /> <br /> <br />
