A. Barrows for a permit to erect a four family <br /> flat on the southwest corner of VanNess and Camile <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, F. H. Becket was granted permission to erect a <br />garage building at 114-18 South Main Street as per <br />mendation of the Planning Co~ission. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the City Manager and on motion of <br /> Trustee Chaney, seconded by McBride and carried, the <br /> application of E. R. Ramsdale for permission to install <br /> a 50 gallon gasoline buggy at his parking yard at 305 <br /> <br /> N. Broadway was granted under supervision of Fire Chief. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee ~icBride, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the application of Wilbur K. Getty for permit to <br />erect a brick building at 813-10 E. Fourth Street was <br />~referred to the Planning Commission and approved and the <br />City Engineer instructed to post property for hearing <br />September 4th, 1928. <br /> <br /> A petition was presented by Clarence J. Smith and others, <br /> asking for the annexation of territory south of Anahurst <br /> Place and east of Main Street. On motion of Trustee <br /> McBride, seconded by Chaney and carried, the Clerk was <br /> instructed to check petition and report back in one week. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by McBride and car. <br /> fled, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant in favor <br /> of Boyd Sleeper in amount of $560.00 from the Fire Fund <br /> for one automatic dispatch system built and installed in <br /> the Fire Hall on Cypress Avenue. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, ~econded by Chaney and car- <br /> ried~ and on recommendation of the Planning Commission <br /> the application of A1 Adrian to erect a service station <br /> on the southwest corner of Fifth and Flower was ap.proved <br /> and the City Engineer was instructed to post property for <br /> hearing date September 4th, 1928. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, s econd~d by'Chaney and car- <br /> ried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids on <br /> the painting of water tank locate~ between Fourteenth and <br /> F~fteenth Streots adjoining the Southern Pacific Railroad <br /> right-of-way, according to plans and specifications on <br /> file. in the office of the Water Superintendent, bids to <br /> be .ened ~tember l~th. <br /> <br /> <br />
