Fourth Street, <br /> was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by McBride and <br />tied, the petition of the Veterans' Welfare Beard to <br />cancel certain taxes on tax records as a lien against <br />property owned by the Board, was referred to the City <br />Attorney for investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> <br />ried, plans and specifications for the paving of Shelton <br />Street between First and Camile were abandoned. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the application of Chas. Eckroat for parking <br />stalls to conduct his taxi business at 305 N. Broadway, <br />was referred to the City Manager for investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, warrant in amount of $396.02 from the Pacific <br />Electric Railway Company covering franchise tax for year <br />ending November 7th, 1928, was accepted and the Clerk <br />instructed to deposit same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Chancy and car- <br />ried, the application of the Robertson Electric Corpora- <br />tion to hang an electric sign for H. F. Roberts at 114 <br />N. Main Street was granted under the supervision of the <br />Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the report of the Health Department for the menth <br />of October was referred ~ the Finance Comsnittee. <br /> <br />~ motion of Tr~Astee Goode, a econded by Chancy and car- <br />ried, the c~m,unication from C.
