Plans & Spec. <br /> <br />Bush, Spurgeon and French. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1864 <br /> <br />Ordering Work - Halladay, <br /> <br />Garfield, Sixth and Poinsettia. <br /> <br />action be withdrawn and to nullify the Ordinance chang- <br />ing the zone on West Seventeenth Street between Main <br />Street and a point two hundred feet West of Broadw~ on <br />both sides of street, from single family residence zone <br />to neighborhood business zone. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted, to change the zone on N. Broadway from Wash- <br />ington to Fifteenth, from single family residence zone <br /> <br />to apartment house zone. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, <br />tied, the City Attorney and <br /> <br />seconded by McBride and car. <br />Engineer were instructed to <br /> <br />prepare the Resolution of Intention for a fifteen foot <br />set back line on both sides of N. Broadway from Eighth <br />Street to Santa Clara Avenue. <br /> <br />A resolution adopting plans and specifications for the <br />improvement to be made upon and along Bush, Spurgeon <br />and French Streets, was filed, read, considered, desig- <br />nated Resolution No. 1863 and passed by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Ab sent, <br /> <br />Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J.Kelly, W.G.Knox, <br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />This being the time and place Set forth in Resolution <br />of Intention No. 1855 to order the work done and tmprov, <br />merit made upon and along a portion of Halladay, Garfiel~ <br />Sixth and Poinsettia Streets, and the City Council <br />duly convened in open session, proceeded to hear and <br />pass upon all protests presented. No owner of property <br />liable to be assessed for said work made written protes~ <br />or any protests against the proposed work or against the <br />extent of the district to be assessed therefor and no <br />person appearing to protest or object to show cause why <br />the improvement should not be carried out in accordance <br />with Resolution of Intention No. 1855, the City Council <br />deemed that it had acquired jurisdiction to order the <br />proposed improvement. A resolution was introduced <br />ordering the work to be done a nd improvement made as <br />briefly set out in Resolution of Intention No. 1855. <br /> <br />The resolution was ordered filed, read, <br />designated Resolution Ordering Work No. <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L.McBride, W.J. <br /> Stanley E. Goode, <br /> <br />considered, <br /> <br />1864 and passed <br /> <br />Kelly. W.G. Knox, <br />F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> <br />
