Anderson requesting that <br />the southeast corner of Broadway and Russell Street be <br />rezoned for the purpose of building a duplex family <br />residence, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and car- <br />ried,- the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant in <br />favor of Harry L. Hanson, Manager of the Band in amount <br />of $536.50 f~om the Band Fund in payment of concert at <br />Long Beach, February 19th, 1928. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, s~conded by Knox and car- <br />Pied, the check of A.B. Rouselle in amount of $50.00 <br />was accepted and the Clerk lnstmlcted to hold same <br />the abandonment of a portion of Sullivan Street is com- <br />pleted, expense of which is to be paid by Mr. Rouselle. <br /> <br />Petitions were presented signed by Property Owners for <br />the Paving of Olive Street between First and Fourth and <br />Garnsey Street between First and Fifth with an asphal- <br />tic concrete pavement. On motion of Trustee Knox, <br />seconded by McBride and carried,.petitions for paving <br />portions of Olive and Garnaey Streets were referred to <br />the Engineer for checking to report back in one week. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Goode ~d car- <br />ried, the report of the Planning Commission was accep- <br />ted and the petition of Harry H. Ball and William C. <br />Fox to rezone the north side of Seventeenth Street be- <br />tween the West line of Main Street and the Last lihe cg <br />the proposed Sycamore Street extension to business zone <br />was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the report of the Planning Commission was accep- <br />ted and the petition of N. Fainberg, et al, was granted <br />to rezone property known as 1615 Durant Street from <br />single family residence zone to duplex and apartment <br />house zone, <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> <br />
