On motion of Trus. <br /> tee Goode, seconded by McBride and carried, the applica- <br /> tion of Mr. Donan was referred to the Planning Commissioz <br /> and the City Engineer was instructed to post property <br /> for hearing date before the Planning Commission at ~:00 <br /> P.M. and the City Council at 7:30 P.M., March 28th. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Knox, seconded by Kelly and carried <br /> by <br /> the plans and specifications as presented/Mr. Frederick <br /> <br /> Eley for the Fire Hall on Cypress Avenue were accepted <br /> and the Clerk instructed to advertise for bids for the <br /> construction of the Fire Hall to be opened April 9th. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the application of Louis Braasch to install 280 <br />gallon gasoline tank, underground, at 1740 N. Baker St., <br />was granted under the supervision of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />On motion of ~rustee Goode, seconded by Knox an~ carried <br />the communication of F.C. Hezmalhalch was accepted and <br />placed on file, reference to the meeting of the Orange <br />County Association of City Councils to be held in Santa <br />Aha, March 2?th, for the discussion of a uniform Buildi~ <br />Code throughout the County of Orange. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Knox and car- <br />ried, the application of J.W. Estes for an extension of <br />time for the completion of Martha Street was granted for <br />one year with the understanding that his bond for subdi- <br />viding will be renewed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by MdBride and car- <br />ried, the application of the' Santa Aha Art Glass Works <br />requesting the extension of the Heavy Industrial Zone ~u <br />allow the building of an addition to their place of busi, <br />ness at 1204 E. Fourth Street, was referred to the Plan- <br />ning Commission. <br /> <br />An application was presented signed by Thermon Means re- <br />questing permission to erect a garage at the southwest <br />corner of First and Oak Streets.
