On motion of <br /> T~Astee McBride, seconded by Knox and carried, the eom- <br /> munication of F.H. Vehring was accepted and placed on <br /> <br /> 0n motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Knox and car- <br /> ried, the proposition cg Burr C. Nelson to stencil <br /> hou~e ntlmbers on clLvbs at nine cents per set, was <br /> ted and placed on file. <br /> <br /> 0n motion of Trustee McBride, seccmded by Kelly and <br /> fled, the application of P. E. Dooley to condnct a busi. <br /> ness of merch,-t police in the City, was referred to <br /> Chief of Police to report back in one week. <br /> <br />Apetition was presented representing 55.847% of the <br />frontage on Western Avenue from 1st to 8th Street, re- <br />questing the paving of said street with a five inch <br />asphaltic pavement. 0n motion of Trustee Kelly, secon- <br />ded by McBride and carried, the City E~ineer was in- <br />structed to d~aw plans and specif'~attons for the <br />of Western Avenue acceding to petition presented. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trmstee McBride, seconded by Knox and car- <br /> ried, the reports of the various city officers for the <br /> month of April, were accepted and referred to the <br /> Committee. <br /> <br /> 0n motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Knox ard car- <br /> r~ed, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br /> <br /> <br />
