No. 1937 <br /> <br />Ordering Improven~nt <br /> <br />Abandonment--Portion <br /> <br />of Spurgeon Street. <br /> <br />253 <br /> <br /> A resolution was introduced declaring it to be the in- <br /> tention of tb~ City Council to order the improvement of <br /> ~helton, Baker, First and Seoon~Streets. <br /> The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br /> designated Resolution of Intention No. 1936 and passed <br /> t~ the ~ollowing vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, W.G. Knox, <br /> F.L. Put inton. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Absent, Trustees Stanley E. aoode. <br /> <br /> This being the time and place set forth in Resolution <br /> cf Intention No. 1921 to order ~%.e work done and <br /> ment made upon and along Olive, Garnsey an~ Pine SM~et~ <br /> and the City Council being duly convened in open ses- <br /> sion, proceeded to hear and pass upon all pretests pre- <br /> aentedo <br /> <br /> No owner of property liable tC be assessed for sai~ <br /> work made written pr~test or any protest against the <br /> proposed wo~k or against the extent of the district to <br /> be assessed therefor and no person appearing to <br /> or object or show any cause why the improvement should <br /> not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of In- <br /> tention Nc. 1921, the City Council deemed that it had <br /> acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement <br /> A resolution was introduced ordering the work to be <br /> done s~d improvenent made as briefly set out in Resolu- <br /> tion of Intention No. 1936. The resolution was ordere~ <br /> filed, read, considered, designated Resolution Ordering <br /> Work No. 19~6 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Txm_stees J. L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, W.G. Knox, <br /> F. L. Puriuton. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> Absent, Trustees Stanley E.
