<br />This being the time and place fixed for the opening
<br />bids or proposals for the work o~dered done and
<br />improvement made upon a portion of Pacific, Fifth,
<br />Third, Second, First and Bristol Streets and briefly
<br />described in Resolution of Intention No. 1918, and
<br />the City Council being duly convened in open session
<br />proceeded to and did publicly open, examine and
<br />declare all bids received as follows:

<br />thereon of an Asphaltic Concrete pavement having a
<br />total thickness of five (5) inches, complete with the
<br />furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and

<br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and
<br />carried, the bids were referred to the City Engineer
<br />for checking to repot back at ~his meeting.
<br />lng the report, the City Council awarded the contract
<br />to Steele Finley as the lowest responsible bidder
<br />therefor at the total price of $1V,706.24. The
<br />Clerk was instructe~ to return certified check to
<br />unsuccessful bidder. ~esolution was introduced
<br />awarding the contract, ordered filed, read,
<br />designated Resolution No. 1943 and passed by the
<br />
