No. 1952 <br /> <br />Approving Assess. <br /> <br />Halladay, Garfield, et al. <br /> <br /> result of said election the p~oposition of annexing said <br /> territory to the City of Santa Ana was defeated. <br /> <br /> Trustee McBride introduced a resolution declaring result <br /> of the special election held May 22nd, 192S, for the <br /> Annexation of the Costa Mesa Addition to the City of <br /> Sarma Aha, showing the proposition was defeated. <br /> <br /> The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, des- <br /> ignated Resolution No. 1950 and passed by the following <br /> vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Chancy, Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br /> This being the time and place set forth in Resolution of <br /> Intention No. 1935 to order the work do~e and improvement <br /> made upon and along Shelton, Baker, First and Second <br /> Streets and the Oity Council being duly convened in open <br /> Session, proceeded to hear and pass upon all protests <br /> present ed.. <br /> <br /> No owner of property liable to be assessed for said <br /> work made written protest er any protest against the pro- <br /> posed work or against the extent of the district to be <br /> assessed therefor and no person appearing to protest or <br /> object or show any cause why the improvement should not <br /> be carried out in accordance with Resolution of <br /> <br />No. 1935, the City Council deemed that it had acquired <br />Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement. A reso- <br />lution was introduced ordering the work to be done and <br />improv~nent ~ade as briefly set out in Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1935. The resolution was ordered filed, <br />.read, considered, designated Resolution Ordering Work No. <br />195~ and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Chancy, Stanley E. Goode, F.L.
