RESOLUTION NO. 52-67 RESOLUTION TERMINATING CASA DE SANTA ANA WHEREAS, heretofore, the City of Santa Ana became the owner and operator of those certain residential units built by the Fed- eral Government and located just south of Eighth Street and west of Flower Street in the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa aha did operate and has operated the same as a housing unit and when the need for such emergency housing ceased, the City Council declared its intention to termi- nate and close said emergency housing unit and discontinue its use for residential purposes on or about the 30th day of June, 1952; and WHEREAS, all of the units in said emergency housing structures have now been vacated and the possession thereof surrendered to the City, and all of the buildings formerly constituting said emergency housing project are now vacant, empty, unoccupied, and unused; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares the Casa de Santa Aha, Veterans Housing Project which was formerly called Federal Housing Authority No. Cal.- V-~382 terminated, discontinued, closed and abolished as a housing p~oJee~ and forever discontinued for residential purposes. ~E IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the date of termination of Casa de Santa Aha is hereby fixed and declared to be the 9th day of August, 1952 and the buildings formerly constituting the Casa de Santa Aha shall be forthwith sold and dismantled or removed from the City prop- erty where they now stand. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: hereby closed and any moneys That the Casa de Santa Ana Fund is being therein shall be and they are hereby transferred to the Capital Outlay Fund and any moneys here- after received which would have been placed in the Casa de Santa Aaa Fund are hereby ordered to be deposited in the Capital Outlay Fund.
