advantage and for the best interests of the Orange County Joint Out- fall Sewer and the persons employed in the operation and maintenance of said Joint Outfall Sewer sewage disposal system that said employees be placed under the California State Employees' Retirement System and given tho benefits of said retirement system; and WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and to the best interests of said Cities and Sanitary Districts to amend the joint agreements heretofore made and entered into by and between them in the respects as set forth in the proposed supplemental agreement hereto attached and made a part hereof. NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by tho 0ity Council of the City of Santa Aha that th~ proposed supplemental agreement hereto attached and made a part hereof be, and the same is hereby, approved in all respects, and that the N~yor and the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said supplemental agreement for and on behalf of the City of Santa Aha AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the actuarial report submitted to the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer by the Board of Administra- tion of the California State Employees~ Retirement System be, and the same is hereby, approved as a basis for the contract to be made and entered into with said Board of Administration by the Executive Com- mittee of the Orange County Joint Outfall Se~er for the placing of all persons employed in the operation and maintenance of said sewage disposal system of the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer under the California State Employees' Retirement System; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Committee of the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer created and designated in the pro- posed supplemental agreement bo, and they are hereby, authorized and empowered to exercise all of the powers conferred upon thom and do all of the things authorized, to tho extent and in the manner set forth in said supplemental agreement.
