Hayes. <br /> <br />~n Re <br /> <br />Correction of <br /> <br />Minutes on Protests <br /> <br />Against Paving Pine <br /> <br />St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and c ar- <br /> <br />Tied, Harry N. Hayes was appointed Office Manager of the <br /> <br />City Water Department to fill the vacancy of A. C. <br /> <br />Hasenjaeger. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Chaney and car- <br /> <br />Tied, the following resolution was adopted: <br /> <br /> Whereas, the minutes of meeting of January 7th,1929, <br />failed to show that an Aye and No vote was taken upon <br />motion of Council overruling the protests or certain <br />property owners on East Pine Street between Cedar and <br />Minnie Streets, against the paving ofsaid street with <br />Portland Cement Concrete pavement, and <br /> Whereas, in fact an Aye and No vote was had on said <br />motion and said vote was as follows: <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Chaney, Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br /> And, said minutes are in error in that they fail to <br />show said Aye and No vote, <br /> Now therefore, be it resolved, that the minutes of <br />this Council for its meeting of January 7th, 1929, be <br />and the same are hereby amended by interlineation so as <br />to show said Aye and No vote as herein set forth on the <br />motion overruling~the protest o~ certain property owners <br />on East Pine Street between Cedar and Minnie' Streets, on <br />the bottom of Page 376 of Record Book lO and the Clerk <br />is hereby directed to make said interlineation as afore- <br />said. Said resolution was passed by the following vote:- <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Chaney, Stanley E. Goode, F.L. McBride, W.J. <br /> Chaney, ~anley E. <br /> <br /> Tru'stees None. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br />Kelly, Homer C. <br />Goode, F.L.Purinton. <br /> <br />This being the time and place set for ope~ning bids for <br />the purchase of a house on North Sycamore Street, Just <br />north of Washington Avenue, known as the Smiley Residenc~ <br />and the City Council being duly convened in open session <br /> <br />examine and declare all bids <br /> <br /> $100.50 <br /> 502.00 <br /> <br />seconded by Chaney and car- <br /> <br />proceeded to publicly open, <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Thereon Means <br /> R, E. Millman <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, <br /> <br />Tied, the bid of R. E.
