Fifth Street were presented. Attorney <br />L.A. West also voiced property owners and residents <br />protests against a business of a wash and grease rack <br />being conducted at said address. On motion of Trustee <br />McBride, seconded by Kelly and carried, the recommenda- <br />tion of the Planning Commission approving the appll <br />of E. T. OtMatlia~to conduct a wash and grease rack at <br />1015 W. 5th Street on condition that the building be <br />encloeed the Full length of each side with a wall of <br />material conforming with the building ordinance, was <br />accepted and the application granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the application of W. V. Vinzant and C.L. <br />to build a small office on a used car lot at 409 N. <br />VanNess Avenue, was denied. <br /> <br />A resolution was introduced approving assessment diagram <br />covering the improvement in, on and along Pine' Street <br />and Cedar Street, in accordance with Resolution of <br />Intention No. 2051. The resolution was ordered filed, <br />read, designated Resolution No. 20?3 and passed by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Homer C. <br /> <br /> Chancy, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Trustees Stanley E. Goode. <br /> <br /> No es, <br />Absent, <br /> <br />An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 to change <br />the zone upon certain property located at 1518 Spurgeon <br />Street from single family residence zone to duplex and <br />apartment house zone, was introduced, read, considered <br />and referred back to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />An Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana amending <br />Ordinance No. 792, as amended by Ordinance No. 797 of <br />the City of Santa Ana, being an Ordinance regulating the <br />moving of buildin6s through or upon public streets, <br />alleys, lanes, etc." <br /> <br />was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. <br />866 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
