Edgin to con- <br />duct a dress shop in her hOme at 715 S. Patton Street, <br />was denied. <br /> <br />Mrs. Alice Leonard appeared before the City Council <br />requesting a 50 day extension of time to install side- <br />walks on Third ~treet between Sycamore and Sroadway. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, Mrs. Alice Leonard was granted a 50 day exten- <br />sion of time to install sidewalk on Third Street betweer <br />Sycmmore and Broadway. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, action was deferred for one week on the applicati¢ <br />of George S. Prentice for permission to conduct a gar- <br />age on the northeast corner of Second and Sycamore St. <br /> <br />On motion of ~ustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> <br />ried, action was deferred on the plan to eliminate the <br />Jog at the corner of Tenth a~d Bush Streets. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />tied, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted approving the application of Wm. Jennings to <br />rezone the Southwest corner of Pine and Flower Streets <br />to neighborhood business, on condition that the set- <br />back line 'of the building conforms to the present <br />building lines in that locality. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the hearing on the closing of Pine Street and <br />NAlnut Street under Resolution of Intention No. 2058, <br />was continued for one week. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />Property owners owning property on East Pine Street, <br />between Cedar and Minnie Street presented a written <br />protest representing 71% of property involved, against <br />the paving of Pine Street with Portland Cement Concrete <br />pavement and requesting that it be paved with Asphaltic <br />pavement. On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by <br />and carried, the protest of property owners against the <br />paving of Pine Street between Cedar and Minnie, was <br />denied~ by the following vote: <br /> <br />"Ayes, Trustees J.L.
