SECTION 6. That the polls shall be open between the hours of 7 <br /> o'clock A. M. and 7 o'clock P. M. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7. That the election officers serving at said consolidated <br />election to be held November 4, 1952, shall receive as compensation for <br />their services in serving upon said election boards, the sum $o be fixed <br />by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8. That said election shall in all respects be conducted <br />as provided by law. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9. The City Clerk is hereby directed and instructed to <br />cause such proposed Charter to be published once in the Santa Aha Regis- <br />ter, the official newspaper of the City of Santa Aha, and in each edi- <br />tion thereof during the day of publication, which publication shall be <br />made and completed mot less than 40 nor more than 60 days prior to <br />November 4, 1952, the date of said election. <br /> <br /> SECTION lC. The City Clerk is farther directed and instructed to <br />publish before the day of such election, by two insertions in the Santa <br />Ann Register, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed, pub- <br />lished, and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, a notice containing a <br />synopsis of the question or measure to be submitted at said election, <br />and which notice shall be substantially as follows: <br /> <br /> "MEASURE TO BE VOTED ON: <br /> <br /> Notice is hereby given that the following measure <br /> is to be voted on at a special municipal election <br /> to be held in the City of Santa Ann on Tuesday the <br /> 4th day of November, 1952, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Shall the proposed Charter of the City of Santa Ann <br /> be adopted? <br /> <br /> Said Charter provides: For a City Council of five <br /> members including a Mayor; for a City Manager; and <br /> for other officers, boards and commissions necessary <br /> or expedient for the government of the City; for the <br /> duties of officers, boards and commissions, and the <br /> manner of their election or appointment; and in gen- <br /> eral, for a complete system of government for the <br /> City of Santa Ann." <br /> <br /> SECTION 11. That in addition to the foregoing notice, the City <br />Clerk shall, not later than the Shitty-first nor earlier than the six- <br />tieth day before said election, give notice of said election by causing <br />a notice of the same to be published at least once in the Santa Ann <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
