Dunn for Cement Sidewalk and <br />Curbing, W. G. Cook for Plastering and Jack Predmore for <br />Lathing, were referred to the Chair for approval or dis- <br />approval. <br /> <br /> Mr. Asa Hoffman, representing property owners on East <br /> FirSt Street, appeared before the Council requesting the <br /> same type of glassware on ornamental lights to be ~sed on <br /> E.First Street to conform with lights now in place on Scut! <br /> Main Street. On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by <br /> Goode and carried,She matter of changing the glassware <br /> on ornamental lights as proposed on East First Street, <br /> was taken under advisement for ~wo weeks. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br /> ried, the application of A.W. Dale for a termporary per. <br /> mit to conduct an auto repair shop in his private garage <br /> at 1414 W. Second Street, was denied. <br /> <br /> .On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Sutton and car- <br /> tied, the property at the northeast corner of First and <br /> Sycamore Streets was ordered posted for special uses in <br /> accordance with the applicati on of Jerry Sullivan to <br /> erect a service station. Hearing date set May 12, 1930. <br /> <br /> A resolution was introduced approving assessment 'diagram <br /> covering the improvement in, on and along a portion of <br /> Lowell Street, in accordance with Resolution of Intention <br /> No. 2166.
