F. Gowdy and the City of <br /> Santa Ana employing the Engineer at a salary of $62.50 <br /> a month for one year for the Joint Outfall Sewer, was <br /> approved and Clerk instructed to for agreement to Mr. <br /> Gowdy for his signature. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded bY Goode and car- <br /> tied, the communication from Northcutt Ely relative to <br /> Boulder Dam power was accepted and the copy of general <br /> regulations for lease of power was referred to the City <br /> Attorney. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the City Engineer was instructed to have suspension <br /> street lights installed od West Seventh Street between <br /> Bristol and Pacific, on the corner of Stafford and Morti- <br /> mer Streets and on South Birch Street between Chestnut <br /> and Camile Streets. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the application of Mabel A. Madden to change the <br /> zone at the southeast corner of Ross and Washington to <br /> business in order to conduct a lunch stand at that loca- <br /> tion, was denied on recommendation of the Planning Commis. <br /> sion. <br /> <br /> On motion c~ Thustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the application of W.H. Dixon & Son for permit to <br /> erect a duplex at 919 S. Flower Street, was refSrred back <br /> to the Planning Commission for further investigations. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the resignation of Mrs. A. Gertrude Collver as a <br />member of the Planning Commission was accepted with regret <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, <br />tied, the application of E. <br /> <br />seconded by McBride and car- <br />T. O'Mailia to have the oma- <br /> <br />mental light moved, located directly in front of his place <br />of business, lO18 W. Fifth Street, was referred to a <br />mtttee to investig~t®.
