Clardy offering his ten <br /> acre wa~ni~t grove to the City for park purposes for the <br /> s~m of $45,000.00 with terms, was accepted and the Clerk <br /> instructed to acknowledge same. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted and the property on North Baker Street known as <br />Lot I of Tract 33 was ordered posted for special uses on <br />condition that building be set back to building line of <br />adjacent houses, and hearing date set June 2nd, 1930~ in <br />accordance with the application of W. C. Chtlders to <br />erect a chicken hatchery. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the property at t.he northwest corner of Seventeentk <br />and Broadway was ordered posted for special uses and <br />hearing date set June 2nd, 1930, in compliance with the <br />application of the Union Oil Company to erect service <br />station. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted and the application of Harry R. Grtffith to <br />erect a drive-in market at the northwest corner of Syca- <br />more and Highland Streets was denied as constituting <br />"spot zoning" · <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the report of committee on lights was accepted and <br />the Clerk instructed to notify D. K. Hammond, Principal <br />of the High School, that sufficient street lights were <br />in place on West Walnut Street between Patton and Ross <br />and police 'officers will be detailed at the High School <br />at the time entertainments are held if the Chief of Polic <br />is notified previously. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the property at 919 S. Flower Street was ordered <br />posted for special uses and hearing date set Sune 2nd, <br />193u, in compliance with the application of W. H.
