Jones. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to <br /> <br />Pave Certain Alley. <br /> <br />the application of the <br />service station. <br /> <br />Standard 0il Company to erect a <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an <br />agreement between Dr. Will Flood and the City relieving <br />and protecting the city from expense of removing a por- <br />tion of his building within the set back line located at <br />the southeast corner of Broadway and Tenth in event that <br />that the street is widened in the future. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the communication from the Planning Commission <br />relative to a system of general tree planting in the Cit <br />was referred to the Engineer with power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />tied, the property at the northwest corner of Bishop and <br />Flower was ordered posted for special uses and the joint <br />hearing date set June 9th, 1930, in compliance with the <br />application of the Reformed Presbyterian Church to move <br />their church building from the corner of First and Spur- <br />ge0n to Bishop and Flower. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and ~ar- <br />tied, Otto R. Haan, member of the Planning Commission, <br />was granted a months leave of absence from the State. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the application of N. Bordon to buy and sell second <br />hand clothing and Jewelry at his place of business, <br /> <br />E. Fourth Street, was referred to a committee to investi- <br />gate and report back. Trustees McBride and Sutton were <br />appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded bY sutton and car- <br />tied, the application of Mr. & Mrs. 0.V. Jones to permis- <br />sion to locate a lunch wagon on E. Walnut Street between <br />Evergreen and Minnie Streets, was referred to a committee <br />to investigate and report back. Trustee McBride and <br />Sutton were appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of ~rustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the petition for paRng a certain n~th and south <br />alley between Broadway and Birch Street from Chestnut to <br />Camile Street, was denied for the reason that petition <br />did not carry 51% of the property owners, signatures. <br /> <br /> <br />
