Walker as a member of the Plan- <br />ning Commission by ~layor Purinton was approved on motion <br />of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee NcBride, seconded by Sutton and car- <br /> <br />ried, the application of N. Borden to buy and sell second <br />.hand clothing and jewellry at his place of business, 207 <br /> <br />E. Fourth Street, was denied. <br /> <br />This being the time and place set for the opening of bids <br />on gasoline for the coming year and the City Council <br />being in open session proceeded to and did publicly open, <br /> <br />examine and declare all bids received as follows: Per Gal, <br />Shell Oil Company .1~ <br />Standard Oil Company .l~ <br />Union Oil Company .12~-~ (Ethyl) .15½~ <br />Langley Oil Company .05~ below tank wagon price and <br /> .14~ maximum price. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by ~CBride and car- <br /> <br />ried, all bids on gasoline were referred to the City <br />Engineer for check, lng to report back in one week. <br /> <br />A resolution was in~roduced approving assessment diagram <br />covering the wc~k and improvement, in on and along port- <br />tions of Flower, Nineteenth, Heliotrope, Santa Clara, <br />Ross, Victoria, Gr~enleaf, Seventeenth and North Park <br />Boulevard, in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. <br />~146. T~e resolution was ordered filed, read, considered <br />and designated Resolution No. ~OO and passed by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Tr~mtees J.L. ~!cBride, B.O.
