McBride, E.G. Warner, <br />Paul B. Witmer, A.¢. HasenJaeger, John Knox. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Minutes of City Council of meetings,May 4th <br /> and llth approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />~orrection of Minutes. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Senato~ N.T. Edwards. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request of <br /> <br />Board of Education. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the minutes at the meeting held May llth, 1931, <br />with reference to personnel of the Building Department <br />remaining uncb-~ged, was ordered to read as follows: <br /> <br />"On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by HasenJaeger <br />carried, it was denided that the personmel of the Build- <br />ing, Electrical, Plumbing and Plastering Department <br />remain unchanged until further investigation of the <br />bui.lding program is made as outlined by the Mayor." <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and <br />ried~ the co,~m~-~cation of Senato~ N. T. Edwards <br />that Assembly Bill No. 1861 had been withdrawn, was <br />accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hasen.laeger <br />carried, the Board of Education was pex~mitted to <br />cement curb along the west line of the pavement, now in <br />place on Ross Street between Washington and Fifteenth <br />cement sidewalk on the west side of Ross Street between <br />the same limits to the present grade of ground, both to <br />be constructed at its own expense. <br /> <br />In Re° <br /> <br />Request of <br /> <br />Wm. Hoofer. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Eleetric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Protest of <br /> <br />Insurance Agents. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer mad <br />carried, the request of Wm. C. Hoofer to place a red <br />electric light at the end of Grand Avenue on the north <br />side of his property, located at the morner of Grand and' <br />~nta Clara~ was referred to the Street Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application of the Robertson Electric Cor- <br />poration for permission to remove electric sign at 106 E. <br />Fourth Street and rebang at 417 N. Main Street for D~. <br />Ralph Murane, was granted under supervision of the <br />Electrical Inspector e <br /> <br />A protest signed by William McKay and other insurance <br />agents in the City, against changing the method of allo- <br />cation of City insurance was read.
