<br />DISTRICT NO. 10 OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT
<br /> NO. 2279.
<br />
<br /> %Vhereas, at the time, place and in the'manner set
<br /> in Resolution of Intention No. 2266 adopted by the City
<br /> Council of the City of Santa Ana on the 15th day of
<br /> December 1930, in the City of Santa Aha, a full, fair and
<br /> impartial hearing was accorded all persons having any
<br /> objections to those things proposed to be done as set
<br /> forth in said Resolution; and
<br /> Whereas, this City Council has adopted its Resolution
<br /> passing upon all protests presented, both written and
<br /> oral~ and has made its ~etermination as to the extent of
<br /> the Assessment District, and
<br /> Whereas, evidence has been received as to the publica-
<br /> tion of said Resolution of Intention No. 2266, and the
<br /> posting of notice of public improvement therein ordered
<br /> posted, at the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
<br /> and to the necessity for the acquisitions contemplated
<br /> and the benefits to be derived therefrom.
<br /> Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, by the City Council of
<br /> the City of Santa Ana, that it is hereby found, deter-
<br /> mined and ordered as follows:
<br /> 1. T~ t the said Resolution of Intention No. 2266
<br /> heretofore adopted on the 15th day of Decenber, 1930, has
<br /> been duly and legally published as required by law, and
<br /> that the notice of public improvement therein directed to
<br /> be posted has been duly and legally posted in the time,
<br /> form, manner and number as required by law, and that all
<br /> protests or objections presented have been disposed of in
<br /> time, form and manner as required by law, and that this
<br /> Legislative Body has now acquired Jurisdiction to order
<br /> the things proposed to be done as set forth in said Reso-
<br /> lution of Intention No. 2266.
<br /> 2. T.hat the boundaries of the Assessment Distriot
<br />said Acquisition and Improvement District No. 10, as pro-
<br />pmsed in said Resolution of Intention are hereby adopted
<br />and established as to the boundaries of said Assessment
<br />District.
<br /> 3. That the public interest and necessity requires,
<br />and it is hereby ordered that the following acquisitions
<br />for the opening and widening of portions of Flower Street
<br />between Walnut Street and Seventeenth Street in the City
<br />of Santa Ana, be made, to-wit:
<br /> The acquisition of the necessary parcels of land to
<br />widen Flower Street to a variable width from a point
<br />(40) feet South of the South line of First Street, to a
<br />point forty (40) feet North of the North line of First
<br />Street, and being the following described parcels of land
<br />to-wit:
<br /> A portion of the following descrtbed parcel of land; the
<br />North 128 feet of the following described property;
<br />Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot i in Block
<br /> P of the Heil Tract, as per map thereof recorded in
<br />Book 23, Page 28 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
<br />County, california, said point being 13.5 feet West of
<br />the Northeast corner of said Lot l; running thence West
<br />along the North line of Lots 1 and 2 in said Block "P" 50
<br />feet; thence South 270 feet through said Lot 2 and Lot 23
<br />to a point on the South line of said Lot 23 which is 12.9:
<br />feet West of the Southeast corner of said Lot 23; thence
<br />East along the South line of said Lot 23 and Lot 24 of
<br />said Block "P" 50 feet to a point which is distant 12.92
<br />feet West of the Southeast corner of said Lot 24; thence
<br />North 270 feet to the place of beginning and more parti-
<br />cularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in
<br />the Northerly line of said Lot 1, said point being dis-
<br />tant 13.71 feet Easterly from the Northwesterly corner
<br />thereof; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said
<br />Lot i to an intersection with t he Westerly line of Flowe~
<br />Street; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of Flowe~
<br />Street 40.00 feet to a point; thence Northwesterly along
<br />a curve tangent to said Westerly line of Flower Street
<br />and whose radius is 67 feet a distance of 31.57 feet to a
<br />
