Eddleman <br /> <br />& Taxicab Drivers. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />tied, the petition of the Veterans' Welfare Board for. <br />the cancellation of certain taxes now appearing on the <br />tax records as a lien against property owned by the <br />was referred to the City Attorney to report back at the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger <br />carried, the application of John J. Mills and E. B. <br />Matlack for a permit to conduc~ a Second Hand Store at <br />420 N. Sycamore Street, was referred to the Police De <br />sent to report back at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the application of the ~anta Ana Electric Com- <br />pany to hang electric signs for Kingms Confectionery at <br />323 W. Fourth StreSt and for Dysart,s Music Company at <br />8~8 S. Main Street, was granted under supervision of the <br />Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger <br />carried, the warrant in amount cE $~49.72 of the Pacific <br />Electric Railway Company covering franchise tax for year <br />ending November 7th, 1932, was accepted and the Clerk <br />instructed to deposit same in the General Fund. <br /> <br />On moti°n of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride <br />carried, Boyd Sleeper, Fire Marshal, was granted one <br />year's leave of absence from the Fire Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application of C. F. Eddleman for the trane- <br />fer of ownership from C. H. Ecklee of the Courtesy Cab <br />Company at ~l~. N. Main Street, together with the applica- <br />tions of Logan Barnett, Harvey A. Clark, M.E. Crumley,Jr. <br />Carl W. Jungkeit, Thomas Glen Kirby, John Robert Lentz, <br />Edward W'. Miller, Homer R. Putmam and Voris K. Robison <br />as Taxicab drivers for said company, were granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
