Quintana for permission to conduct a pool hall at $03 E. 4th Street, was referred to the Police Department and City Attorney for investiEation and report back. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Penn and car- tied, the communication of C. H. Eckles giving notice of the removal of the Santa Ana Bus Service w~thin thirty days unless prompt action is taken against the Home Cab Company, for operating in defiance of the City Ordinance, was accepted and filed. On motion of Trustee Penn, secmmded by McBride and carri. the communication from the American Legion with reference to the exhibition to be given by the Drum Corps at the Bowl November 25th and 26th, was accepted and filed. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Penn and the application of L. J. Detrixhe for a permit to possess sell, serve and dispose of light wine and beer to the patrons of his cafe at 416 N. Main Street, if and when the same is lawful so to do, was referred to Trustee On motion of Trustee McBride, sec c~ded by Penn and car- ried, the request of E. R. Ruddy, representing the Busi- ness Men's Assnciation, for permission to use the light standards for Christmas Tree decorations during the holi- days and the City to bear the expense of lighting, was referred to Trustee HasenJaeger.
