Quintana for permission to <br />conduct a pool hall at $03 E. 4th Street, was referred to <br />the Police Department and City Attorney for investiEation <br />and report back. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Penn and car- <br />tied, the communication of C. H. Eckles giving notice of <br />the removal of the Santa Ana Bus Service w~thin thirty <br />days unless prompt action is taken against the Home Cab <br />Company, for operating in defiance of the City Ordinance, <br />was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, secmmded by McBride and carri. <br />the communication from the American Legion with reference <br />to the exhibition to be given by the Drum Corps at the <br />Bowl November 25th and 26th, was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Penn and <br /> <br />the application of L. J. Detrixhe for a permit to possess <br />sell, serve and dispose of light wine and beer to the <br />patrons of his cafe at 416 N. Main Street, if and when <br />the same is lawful so to do, was referred to Trustee <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, sec c~ded by Penn and car- <br />ried, the request of E. R. Ruddy, representing the Busi- <br />ness Men's Assnciation, for permission to use the light <br />standards for Christmas Tree decorations during the holi- <br />days and the City to bear the expense of lighting, was <br />referred to Trustee HasenJaeger. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed ~o draw warrants accc~ding <br />to the following demands audited by the Finance Ce,w, ittee: <br /> <br /> Trust Dept.
