H. Miller for appointment as a <br /> special police officer at the Famous Department Store, <br /> was denied on reco~nendation of the Chief of Police. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> carried, the protest of merchants on M. Main Street <br /> between Fourth and Sixth against the barricade across the <br /> sidewalk on the east side of Main Street at Fourth Street <br /> was referred to the City.Attorney for immediate action. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br /> the application of Henry Okamoto for permission to cell <br /> Christmas trees at his residence at 1330 S. Main Street <br /> during the holidays, was granted on condition that he <br /> pays an additional license $~his produce stand license. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the C°munication of The Unemployed Association' <br /> of Santa Aha, Inc. petitioning the Council to maintain <br /> present Bus Service, was received and filed for future <br /> <br />reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
